STILL HERE WHEN YOU ARE GONE

[“STILL HERE WHEN YOU ARE GONE” is an interdisciplinary project by viennese photographer Dieter Campregher and viennese musician Dream_Logic. It combines photography and music and deals with loneliness, anger and sadness after the loss of close people.]

Losing a loved person leaves a mark. If you give this strong emotions a place, well stored and protected in the dark of your soul, they will accompany you permanently and maybe even get stronger over time. 

If you face these emotions, bring them out into the world and share them with other people, they will, although still a part of you, gradually fade and bleach.

New blank spaces immerge to be filled with new experiences and memories.

Like polaroids exposed to the sun.

(Polaroid and Polaroid-like images fade after approx. 20 - 30 years when stored in dark conditions. If you expose the images to strong sunlight, you will speed up the process significantly.)
